Platinum Dental Plan does not rent, sell, or share personal identifying information about you with nonaffiliated individuals or companies except 1) where it is necessary to provide the information to acquire the products or services that you've requested and where we have your permission to do so; or 2) in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process, and/or to establish and/or exercise our legal rights and/or to defend against legal claims, and we will also share your information at such times and under such circumstances that we determine, in our sole discretion, that it is necessary to share the information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the Platinum Dental Plan Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law; and 3) we will transfer information about you should Platinum Dental Plan be acquired by or merged with another company, and in this event, Platinum Dental Plan will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We limit access to the personal information about you within our company to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information in order to provide services to you or in order to do their jobs. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that protect the personal information we have collected about you. All Platinum Dental Plan account information is password-protected.

Platinum Dental Plan may from time to time update this policy. We will notify you about any significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending you a notice to the primary email address specified in your Platinum Dental Plan account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
